When Sean became the first American-born musician to win an All-Ireland fiddle championship in 1965, he was still in his teens. But by that time, he had already been playing for years with the great fiddlers of Irish New York in the 1950s and ‘60s, including Paddy Killoran, “Lad” O’Beirne and his own bandleader father Louis Quinn. In addition to sharing his fiddle playing and original compositions, Sean will relate some tales of his half century in New York Irish music. Piano backing by Brendan Dolan.
