Fiddler Katie Linnane hails from Pearl River in Rockland County, NY, where a crew of great teachers, including Willie Kelly and Katie's mother Kathy, has mentored hundreds of talented young musicians. Katie, who plays with effortless exuberance, is among the best of this golden generation. For her Blarney Star concert debut, Katie will team up with Isaac Alderson - a Chicago-born All-Ireland champion on uilleann pipes, flute and tin whistle - and with John Morrow, a highly respected tenor banjo player from County Leitrim.
