New Yorker Maeve Flanagan has a distinguished musical pedigree. Her mother Rose and uncle Brian Conway are among the most respected fiddlers and fiddle teachers on this side of the Atlantic, and her father Mike has been a multi-instrumental mainstay of the traditional music scene for decades. Maeve herself grew up to win an All-Ireland fiddle championship and become a founding member of the Cherish the Ladies-inspired “girl group” Girsa. Maeve will be joined on the night by some of her many talented musical associates.
